Who can take the exam?

The exam must be taken by people who need to show basic knowledge of Swedish society in order to become a Swedish citizen, and who cannot show this knowledge in any other way.

Migrationsverket decides who is allowed to take the exam. You can only register if you have received a letter — a directive — from Migrationsverket.
