Exam day

About a week before exam day, you'll receive a summons on your registration account. Read the summons carefully — it contains information about where you'll take the exam as well as the times and rules that apply. Print the summons and bring it with you; you need it to enter the exam venue.

You must be able to show valid Swedish identification several times during the day, and your Swedish personal identity number must be visible — a foreign passport or electronic ID is not accepted. Approved ID documents are a Swedish ID card for registered residents (issued by the Swedish Tax Agency), a Swedish driving licence, and a Swedish SIS-marked ID card.

Arrive in good time, as there may be a queue at the ID check — anyone arriving late risks not being admitted once the exam has already started.

Allowed at your desk: pencil (also available to borrow), eraser, and simple pharmacy earplugs.

Not allowed: mobile phones, smart watches and other electronic equipment, headphones or airpods, other aids that can store or send information (for example smart glasses), and food or drink (exceptions may be granted as an accommodation, for example for diabetes).

The exam supervisor will explain the rules at the start of the day. You may not leave the room while the exam is in progress — doing so risks not receiving a result.
